GOLFWAYPOINT
About GolfWaypoint
The aim is simple: make it easier to turn “we should play somewhere” into a considered plan.
Built around a decision
Search course records, save a few options, compare the details and put the chosen rounds into a plan. Our tools help with the questions a plain map pin leaves unanswered: what is recorded, what needs checking and how much time you should allow.
An open-data starting point
The first release covers US records from OpenGolfAPI and OpenStreetMap. We keep the coverage boundary visible. We are not affiliated with the listed clubs and do not claim to have played or inspected them. An imported fact is not a live course confirmation.
No manufactured rankings
We do not turn missing fields into low scores or invent user reviews. Alphabetical lists, your own filters and clearly labelled straight-line distances organize the data. A shortlist belongs to you; it is not a recommendation to book.
Practical tools, no account
Your shortlist uses this browser’s storage. Personal budget calculations run locally and are not stored on our servers. You can clear saved courses and export a trip plan before leaving.
